The Program Specialist-Emissions Neutral Buildings plays a key role on Alberta Ecotrust Foundation's Building's Team in launching the tactical operations of the Emissions Neutral Buildings Information Exchange (ENBIX). This position will be focused on providing access to ENBIX's programs within Alberta but outside of the two urban centers of Edmonton and Calgary. Your goal in this position is to develop, monitor, continuously improve and report on ENBIX. Your role is to help build capacity in the building industry to advance the construction and retrofits of emissions neutral buildings. Applying your subject matter knowledge in emissions neutral buildings and deep energy retrofits, combined with your skills in capacity building, facilitation, collaboration, research, financial analysis and program administration and reporting, your work will help build capacity and relationships across the sector.
This is a full time, temporary term position that will conclude on March 31, 2027 with an option to renew or transition to a permanent position if additional funding is secured. We are looking to fill one position from anywhere in Alberta - looking foremost for an individual who is interested in working outside of Edmonton and Calgary with constant travel around Alberta.
