In this role, you will provide comprehensive support to our Marketing and Communication efforts, ensuring effective brand management, engaging communication strategies, compelling written content, and a strong portfolio of your work.

As a Marketing and Communications Specialist, you will:

  • Collaborate closely with the Communications Manager to develop and execute strategic marketing and communication plans aligned with organizational goals.
  • Take the lead in organizing and coordinating promotional events, overseeing all aspects from planning to execution to ensure maximum impact and brand visibility.
  • Monitor and manage the company's social media channels and online presence, driving engagement and fostering positive interactions with our audience.
  • Lead the coordination of meetings, press conferences, and presentations, ensuring seamless execution and effective communication of key messages.
  • Champion the maintenance of brand identity standards across all marketing and communication materials, ensuring consistency and alignment with brand guidelines.
  • Proactively identify and address any issues with promotional content, demonstrating professionalism and a commitment to upholding brand integrity.
  • Play a key role in planning and implementing communication strategies, leveraging your expertise to optimize messaging and audience engagement.
  • Utilize your exceptional writing skills to craft compelling content for various channels, including:
  • Website copy
  • Blog posts
  • Social media posts
  • Email newsletters
  • Press releases
  • Company-wide communications
  • Other promotional materials
  • Provide a strong portfolio showcasing your writing abilities and previous marketing and communication projects.
  • Recommend and implement techniques to enhance the company's public image and reputation, monitoring sentiment and proactively addressing any concerns.
  • Assess the effectiveness of communication strategies through comprehensive analysis and reporting, providing actionable insights for continuous improvement.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Marketing, Communications, English, Public Relations, or Journalism.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a marketing or communications role, with demonstrated proficiency in strategic planning and execution.
  • Strong understanding of effective marketing techniques and best practices.
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills, with a proven ability to craft compelling and persuasive content.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Advanced organizational and time-management abilities, with a track record of managing multiple projects and deadlines successfully.
