PART-TIME - MUST BE ABLE TO WORK EVENINGS AND WEEKENDS.

Responsible for all general duties as directed by the department manager. The cashier must have a strong commitment to customer service, helping where needed. All applicants must be able to legally work in Canada.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Complete understanding of all cash register functions and maintain accurate cash control
• Be able to identify all items in the produce and bakery departments
• Offer a greeting to every customer you come into contact with
• Offer assistance to any customer looking as if they need help
• Pack groceries for customers as often where possible
• Accurately stock shelves, facing up stock and managing signage where required
• Clean out checkout area at the end of the night
• stock, stock shelves, and assist as directed by the Grocery Manager and/or Store Manager.
• Positive attitude, flexibility and customer service experience are all important.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
• Additional tasks and duties as required or requested by supervisor.
