Alstar is currently seeking experienced day shift General Labourers to work out of our fabrication shop in Leduc, Alberta (6303 43 Street, Leduc). Successful candidates will be responsible for assisting the crew and completing specific tasks around the fabrication shop. Requirements
Reporting to the Spooling General Foreman, the candidate will:
- Show a proven commitment to Safety
- Follow and complete daily work tasks assigned and promote a productive workplace
- Excellent communication, attitude, collaborative skills and ability to follow directions
- Assisting pipefitters/welders/foremen when required
- Assisting with bolting up piping systems for hydrostatic testing
- Use of all forms air, power and hand tools
- Assist yard crew loading trailers
- Kitting materials for welders
- Spotting of equipment
- Shop clean up
- Skid steer and telehandler experience an asset
- Ensure clean and organized work environment
- Follow all company policies and procedures
- Willing to learn the ways of relevant construction processes
- Proven safety attitude and excellent attendance history
