• Work with Senior Management to build a long-term road map of the engineering team.
• Help the development team with day to activities and projects, solve challenges, build and improve standards, and help the organization to adhere to the best development practices
• Act as a coach for the technical teams by providing direction, functional and technical training, and technical expertise.
• Work side by side with Architects to introduce modern software development practices for the entire software development lifecycle and help introduce these to the organization.
• Give architectural recommendations, design major components of the architecture, including APIs, user interface, and middleware.
• Advocate, document, and enforce best engineering practices, design and implementation principles, and coding standards; drive high quality in all phases of software development.
• Work with customers and collect requirements, define and communicate technical requirements, architecture, and design.

What you must have:

• Bachelor's and / or Master's Degree in Computer Science or related degree, or equivalent experience
• Over 5 years in a leadership capacity
• 10+ years of experience in Software Development, Design, and Testing
• 3-5 years of combined experience architecting, designing, and implementing multi-tiered software applications
• Strong experience in programming languages such as .NET, .NET Core, Angular/ReactJS, TypeScript, JavaScript, etc.
• Experience in taking a leading role in building complex software systems that have been successfully delivered to customers
• Experience working on complex business problems and providing technical solutions that are effective, creative, and efficient.
• Deep experience in agile software development life cycle, practices, and tools (coding standards, code reviews, source code management, build processes, QA)
• Ability to coach team members in technical skills and provide advice and assistance on project management, time management, coding, and testing
• Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced and demanding environment
• Strong experience in MS Azure or AWS
• Good knowledge of relational data models, SQL, and RDBMS (MS SQL and PostgreSQL)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to details
