Location: 1111 W. Broadway, Vancouver, BC V6H 1G1
Position: Full-time Pharmacist
Schedule: 5 days per week (including one weekend day)

Responsibilities:

  • Dispensing Prescriptions: Accurately prepare, dispense, and manage medications prescribed by healthcare professionals.
  • Patient Care: Offer counseling and advice to patients regarding the safe and effective use of their prescribed medications, including potential side effects and interactions.
  • Healthcare Collaboration: Work closely with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to formulate, implement, and monitor therapeutic plans.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with federal, provincial, and local regulations concerning the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Inventory Management and Pharmacy Records: Setup and maintain proper pharmacy records, and manage drug inventory levels, order supplies, and verify deliveries to maintain business and healthcare standards.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Pharmacy degree or equivalent.
  • Licensed Pharmacist in British Columbia.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in a pharmacy setting is preferred.

Remuneration:

  • Wage starting at $45 per hour, with potential to increase based on experience and performance.
  • Comprehensive health coverage, including dental, vision, and medical insurance, becomes available upon successful completion of a three-month probationary period period.
  • Licensing fee reimbursement.
