Job Description:
We are currently seeking dedicated and reliable Cleaning Technicians to join our team! As a Cleaning Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in various settings, and ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for our clients and their visitors. Your attention to detail and strong work ethic will contribute to the overall satisfaction of our customers throughout the Annapolis Valley!
Responsibilities:
  • Perform general cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and polishing surfaces
  • Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, and fixtures
  • Empty and dispose of trash and recycling materials
  • Maintain cleanliness in common areas, such as hallways, lobbies, and waiting rooms
  • Clean windows, glass surfaces, and mirrors
  • Restock supplies, such as toilet paper, paper towels, and soap dispensers
  • Follow established cleaning procedures and protocols to ensure high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations, including the proper handling and storage of cleaning chemicals
  • Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor
  • Collaborate with team members to complete cleaning tasks efficiently and within designated timeframes
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in professional cleaning or janitorial services is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Your positivity and work ethic are more important!
  • Knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and materials is a plus
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Physical stamina and the ability to perform repetitive tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Positive attitude and professional demeanor
  • Flexibility to work during non-standard hours, including evenings and weekends, if required
Salary and Benefits:
  • Wages will depend on experience, but starting salary will range from $16-$18 per hour
  • Wages paid bi-weekly via direct deposit
