This multifaceted position relies on your experience, creativity, and initiative to contribute to the overall and ongoing development of Studio Munge and various ventures. As a driven videographer, editor, and content creator, you will be relied on to develop and maintain brand constancy and top communications standards across all channels through your strong ability to execute the directives from our Director of Marketing. In addition to managing your deliverables, you might also effectively coordinate external consultants encouraging innovation in all forms while always ensuring the content produced is on brand, relevant and impactful.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Video Content Production of in-progress and completed projects, furniture and other products, interviews, studio behind-the-scenes and more
  • Video Editing & Post-Production
  • Motion Graphics Production
  • Social Media Content Coordination, including the development and communication of our brand pillars through the implementation of our social media content calendar and posting of engaging content
  • Website Updates, including coordination of external collaborators and upload of produced multimedia content
  • Other tasks as required to create new opportunities, increase visibility, and brand value across all channels

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3 years of directly related experience as a freelance or in-house content creator, videographer, and editor.
  • Post-Secondary degree or diploma in Digital Marketing, Multimedia Design, Video Design, or related creative program.
  • Strong attention to detail and visual sense expressed through storytelling, shooting and editing.
  • Ability to collaborate and work independently, taking original ideas from concept to completion
  • Knowledge of all aspects of video capture and post-production, including camera and audio operation, lighting and more.
  • Experience documenting people, spaces and products using daylight, ambience, and studio lighting.
  • Experience developing engaging Motion Graphics.
  • Experience working on projects with quick turnarounds and tight deadlines.
  • In-depth understanding of social media and web content production.
  • Experience producing, shooting, and editing Instagram Reels and Tik Tok content.
  • Experience developing innovative concepts in collaboration with a creative team
  • Demonstrated experience in social media management and community development through engaging content
  • Experience working in an e-commerce studio is an asset.
  • Exceptional English verbal and written communication skills.
  • Bilingual French or Mandarin is an asset.
  • Ability to travel in Canada, the USA and abroad to document our international projects.
