- Work with multi-disciplinary teams to create functional modern software designs.
- Implementation of REST applications in Java/Spring.
- You'll be responsible for creating more than just production code - tests, design documentation, performance analysis, and product support.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Mathematics or equivalent.
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
- Experience with micro-services architecture and API first approach with hands-on expertise in consuming/producing REST APIs
- Experience with various Java development technologies, including Maven, Spring framework and Tomcat.
- Experience with relational databases, handwritten SQL, and ORM technologies such as Hibernate.
- Running web applications on Linux hosts.
- Experience developing software in a professional environment, including source control, bug tracking, unit testing.
- Knowledge of virtualization and application container environments such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of static and dynamic code analysis tools.
- Knowledge of modern security issues, including authentication and authorization.
- Ability to thrive in a global, fast-paced and deadline driven environment with changing priorities.
- Excellent verbal / written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Customer-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively across team and organizational boundaries.
- Solid knowledge and experience in programming applications.
