As our Partnerships & Growth Specialist, you will drive user acquisition at scale by developing strategic relationships with related organizations in the start-up and small and medium business ecosystem. Your prospects will include businesses that serve high volumes of small businesses and start-ups including industry associations, accelerators, incubators, chambers of commerce, and boards of trade.

Your Key Responsibilities:

As a Partnerships & Growth Specialist, you are responsible for driving Pocketed's growth through strategic partnerships:

  1. Partner Development: Prospect, identify, and build relationships with key partners in the small and medium business and start-up ecosystems, getting them excited about the value of partnering with Pocketed. This will enable you to build and manage a healthy user acquisition pipeline. This includes setting partnership goals, negotiating agreements, and ensuring successful execution and collaboration.
  2. Partner Activation: Lead webinars, run virtual demos, and do what it takes to spread the word about Pocketed – making our partners' lives easier and making them look good in the process.
  3. Partner Marketing and Promotion: Lead the development and execution of co-marketing initiatives with partners, including events, webinars, content collaborations, and promotional campaigns, to drive awareness and generate leads.
  4. Performance Measurement and Optimization: Work with our Head of Marketing to establish clear metrics and KPIs to evaluate the success of partnership initiatives. Use data-driven insights to continuously refine and optimize partnership strategies for maximum impact.
  5. Cross-Functional Team Collaboration: Work closely with sales, marketing, product, and customer success teams to integrate partnership strategies with overall business goals. Facilitate the alignment of partner activities with Pocketed's marketing campaigns and sales objectives.
  6. Learning & Development: Staying fresh is critical! You will spend time researching our market, customers, and competitors to identify opportunities, strengths and weaknesses to inform our digital marketing strategy. This could include listening to podcasts, attending webinars, reading articles and more!
