Dass Rebar in Vaughan is looking for hard-working individuals to join our growing team.

PURPOSE:

Bend, cut, bundle, and load rebar as per customer's orders.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Unload trailers and store material in an appropriate manner

· Operate a rebar shear line to cut bar to specified lengths

· Operate a rebar bending equipment to bend bars to specified shapes

· Assemble and load orders onto trailers for shipping.

· Operate overhead cranes to load and unload trucks

· Maintain the shop or designated area in a clean and safe manner.

· Assist other employees in any of the above tasks.

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Safety Conscious

· Must have basic math skills to be able to calculate bar measurements (Metric and Imperial)

· Experience working in a rebar fabrication shop is preferred

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

· Some heavy lifting may be necessary

· Indoor Shop- working conditions can be noisy/ dusty/ hot/ cold

· Fast paced environment
