Job Title: Digital Properties Specialist (Product Owner)Job ID: ME893101425Location: Edmonton, AB Overview:Our client is seeking a Digital Properties Specialist to join their Digital Sales and Banking team. This individual should exhibit a high standard of excellence, enjoys challenges, and is results-driven. The incumbent must be highly motivated and demonstrate the ability to work in an agile environment. Working alongside the Manager, the Digital Properties Specialist will operate as a "Product Owner" and will be the champion of their digital properties' performance (mobile/desktop web platforms, digital banking platforms) and delivery. As the Product Owner, you will be responsible for defining the product's capabilities and features based on the product's overall vision and support the delivery of the product roadmap. This opportunity will enable working in collaboration with the client's partners, internal stakeholders, and team members across the Digital team including, but not limited to marketing, insights, operations, IS technical stakeholders and vendors.What you will be doing:
  • Creating and prioritizing features within the product backlog and support the writing of user stories
  • Provide day to day support on the implementation of large-scale projects
  • Defining key metrics for digital initiatives and projections/estimated impact, while serving as a champion for their digital properties
  • Research, recommend and lead implementation, where applicable, and suggest enhancements based on the analysis of competitive digital channels and industry trends
  • Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support and deliver digital initiatives
  • Influence and assist the strategic vision through assigned digital touch points
  • Provide analysis and implementation recommendations for all digital enhancements
  • Proactively present key digital reports to stakeholders, and outline recommendations
  • Knowledge, advocation and delivery of brand tone and digital styling across all digital properties
  • Perform other duties as assigned/required for the role.
What you must have:
  • The minimum educational qualification of a Digital Properties Specialist is a Recognized Diploma at a College/Technical School or Bachelor's Degree (Technical/Business/Science) or any other relevant field.
  • MBA or Master's Degree in Management, Computer Science, Information Technology, or similar is favorable, but not required.
  • The successful candidate is expected to possess an experience of five to seven years in the e-commerce development sector. This may include direct Digital Banking analysis experience working within an organization, experience working as a consultant on Digital Banking initiatives, or working for a product/service provider that specializes in Digital Banking solutions.
  • Experience managing/working with 3rd party partners and vendors
  • Excellent detailed written and verbal skills
  • Advanced knowledge in the following practice's:
  • User Experience within responsive design
  • SCRUM/Agile Development
  • Web Analytics and KPIs
  • Principles of target markets and customer segments
  • Digital commerce in the Financial Institution industry or other e-commerce industries
