AGS Automotive Systems is a full-service automotive supplier specializing in the manufacture and supply of complex high value-add automotive metal components, including in particular front and rear impact assemblies, principally for pick-ups and the heavy truck market. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Works in accordance with the trades standards associated with a 442A license
• Plans installations from blueprints, sketches and specifications and installs all electrical and electronic devices
• Systematically diagnoses faults in electrical systems, electronics and equipment and repairs or replaces electrical or electronic components as required
• Performs electrical predictive and preventative maintenance.
• Actively involved in Continuous Improvement activities.
• Maintain a safe and tidy work area.
• Complete Electrical Work Orders.
• Able to measure, cut, threat, bend, assemble and install conduits and electrical conductor raceways
• tests electrical and electronic equipment for proper function
• Acknowledge and promote and encourage safe work habits.
• To contribute towards the continual program of good housekeeping.
• Ensure the standards of Section 28 of the OHSA are met.
• Perform any other related duties that may be specifically or generally assigned.
• Work in compliance with the Act and regulations [section 28 (1)(a)].
