Onsite Sign Group has an opening in our Assembly/Channel Letter Department. We are looking for an outgoing and dedicated teammate. If you've had a history of attention-to-detail work, such as Cricut work or other home "craft" hobbies, this is likely a job you would enjoy. Someone who loves pottery, stained glass, or other such activities involving acrylics/glasses/substrates, and who loves to take pride in a finished project is perfect for this position.

Responsibilities:

  • Assemble illuminated and non-illuminated signs according to specifications, blueprints, and technical drawings.
  • Work with various adhesives, silicones, and tapes to finalize assembly.
  • Pay close attention to artwork to maintain exceptional quality control.
  • Assist LED, Channel Letter, and Shipping Departments where needed.
  • Maintain an organized and clean work area, ensuring proper storage and inventory management of components.
  • Follow safety protocols and adhere to all relevant regulations to create a safe working environment.
  • Provide feedback to the production supervisor on any process improvements or equipment needs.

Requirements:

  • Familiar with basic hand tools.
  • Excellent attention to detail and precision to ensure accurate assembly and wiring.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve technical issues.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with colleagues and provide feedback.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in an assembly environment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional vocational training in electrical assembly is a plus.
