The Position

The Delivery Manager role will report directly to the Director of Delivery and supported by the SVP of Operations. The role will be responsible for the overall delivery of the Rightsline's Rights and Royalties Management software implementation, upgrade, and advancement portfolio. This includes managing a team of Delivery Leads, removing obstacles, while also driving projects. This role will create/update standard delivery practices, create templates and enhance processes for the team. This critical role will capture program health metrics to present to upper management. In addition, this person will be creating project plans, slide presentations, managing the execution of implementations and advancements, communications on project status both internally and externally, tracking risks, managing billable and non-billable hours for the project, and project change management.

What you will do:

  • Manage a team of Delivery Leads while establishing a strong practice measured by customer satisfaction and KPIs. This role will be called on as an escalation point with customers to resolve project execution related challenges.
  • People Management of a strong Delivery Lead team
  • Establish Delivery best practices, standards and process for the team
  • Establish and Measure project health for the portfolio
  • Interface with Customers as an escalation point on projects.
  • Provide team guidance on project blockers and risks
  • Collaborate internally with multiple teams to ensure portfolio health
  • Create Project Plans in conjunction with our customers by establishing timelines, milestones, tasks, and assignees.
  • Ensuring implementation and advancement projects are properly staffed by coordinating internally with both the Solutions and Solutions Enablement Teams for resources.
  • Responsible for project mobilization with customers. Coordinating internal sales handoff discussions with the Implementation teams.
  • Collaborating with our customers on project goals, resources, governance, and project kick off.
  • Manage risks and alerting management to potential escalations and issues of importance
  • Establishing and running project cadence calls both internally and externally to discuss status, training, requirements etc.
  • General project administration by leveraging our internal project tool, including task and billing management
  • Engage with 3rd party technology vendors and system integration partners to ensure smooth implementations based on contractual work orders

What you will bring to the role:

  • Bachelors or equivalent work experience.
    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field preferred
  • 5+ years of experience managing or delivering projects
  • Minimum 2 years of leadership experience supervising people
  • Excellent analytical, organizational and presentation skills
  • Excellent people management skills
  • Strong conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work in a time-sensitive, deadline driven environment and prioritize accordingly
  • Ability to make sound judgment and resolve problems without supervision
  • Ability to clearly and effectively communicate, both written and verbally, with internal and external audiences
  • Excellent knowledge and ability in the use of the Microsoft Office or Google Workspace
  • Hybrid Agile methodology experience preferred
  • Jira project management experience a preferred
  • Project Management Certifications are preferred

Our 5 Stage Recruitment Process

  1. Review - We review applications and screen based on a variety of criteria
  2. Phone - Candidates will be screened via a quick 20-minute Zoom meeting to discuss the role opportunity
  3. Interview - We will conduct 2-3 stages of interviews via Zoom
  4. Task - Finalists will complete a small task to show off their skills.
