The Lac La Ronge Indian Band's Woodland Wellness Centre is inviting applications for the following Permanent Part-Time & Casual positions based out at Operations & Maintenance Department La Ronge, SK:

The suitable candidate will be able to perform the following duties:

• Guard the property against the fire, suspicious behavior, theft, vandalism, and forced entry;
• Perform foot patrol on Woodland Wellness Centre's property;
• Observe and examine doors, windows, and gates to ensure that property is properly secured;
• Observe and report irregularities to the supervisor and other agencies (RCMP or Fire Department)
• Work independently with minimal supervision;
• Provide written and verbal reports with attention to factual details;
• Observe building and systems during shifts for potential boiler failure, pump failure, water leaks, or any other abnormal building system failures and report it to the Operations & Maintenance supervisor or maintenance staff.
• Assist treatment staff in sudden case of emergencies such as violent outbreaks of participants and/or urgent medical attention of participants.
• Other work-related duties as assigned by immediate supervisor;

The suitable candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• Minimum Grade 12 or equivalent.
• Security Guard training course or related;
• Previous experience in the security industry will be an asset.
• Ability to deal with public in a respectful and assertive manner;
• Ability to maintain confidentiality is essential;
• Punctual, honest and reliable;
• The ability to speak Cree is an asset;
• Valid Class 5 Driver's License is preferred;
• Must have a Valid Class 5 Driver's License and own a reliable vehicle;
• Must provide a satisfactory & recent; Criminal & Vulnerable Sector Check, SGI Driver's Abstract.
