Specific shift details to be discussed during the interview process. Job Duties/Responsibilities: Conduct preventive maintenance services at all levels. Identify warrantable repairs and document effectively. Maintain workplace safety and cleanliness. Perform road tests for diagnostic purposes. Work autonomously, efficiently, and effectively. Utilize various tools and equipment, including hand and power tools, welding equipment, and hoists. Inspect and maintain vital vehicle components. Execute routine maintenance and equipment adjustments. Specialize in repairing major components like engines and transmissions. Undertake other projects as assigned. Qualifications: Minimum 5 years of practical experience in tractor-trailer maintenance. Required Provincial License such as Red Seal/310T. Current driver's license (Class D or 3 with air brake certification) or the ability to obtain it within 6 months. Proficiency in using trade tools and diagnostic equipment. Basic computer skills. Ability to work in varied environmental conditions. Specialized training in major component diagnosis and troubleshooting. Physical Work Demands: Regularly lift/move up to 12kg, frequently up to 23kg, occasionally up to 45kg. Specific vision abilities for the job. Regular standing, walking, sitting, and hand coordination. Work Environment: A commitment to safety and excellence in a dynamic and collaborative work environment. Travel within the district may be required.
