We are currently expanding and seeking an HR Administrator / Office Manager to build out our administrative and human resource related capabilities. This role involves managing and improving our HR policies, programs, and practices, and reports directly to the General Manager. This position requires a commitment to a five-day workweek in our Mississauga office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and uphold HR best practices that align with industry standards, legislation, and our corporate goals.
  • Manage and archive HR records effectively.
  • Advise leadership on employee relations, ensuring adherence to policies and legal standards.
  • Manage compensation, including rewards and recognition for outstanding performance.
  • Oversee annual reviews, maintaining confidentiality and accuracy.
  • Promote a culture of safety and high performance, working collaboratively to meet goals and deadlines.
  • Develop staffing strategies, including recruitment, interviewing, and conducting exit interviews.
  • Manage employee benefits programs, analyzing needs and overseeing benefit claims processing.

Requirements

  • Self-starter mindset, as you will be building out this department and it's practices from the ground up.
  • High school diploma.
  • 3-5+ years in various HR roles and administrative roles.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field is preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HR software.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • High integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments.
