Risk Control Technologies (RCT) is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Business Analyst to join our dynamic team. Reporting directly to the Manager of Implementation and Delivery, the Business Analyst will play a pivotal role in owning the implementation of technical projects at RCT. This position requires a candidate with a curious mindset, excellent communication skills, and a strong technical background.


As a Business Analyst at Risk Control Technologies, you'll be working hands on with some of North Americas largest and most progressive Insurance carrier's to be their trusted advisor. You will work closely with the Customer Experience team whose focus is on advocacy, retention, and product adoption.


Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the API integration between RCT and core systems to ensure seamless data flow.
• Implement Single Sign-On (SSO) solutions to enhance security and user experience.
• Develop and maintain Power BI reporting solutions to provide valuable insights to stakeholders.
• Work closely with customers to understand and define requirements for technical projects.
• Act as a liaison between customers and development/technology teams to ensure successful project execution.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritize tasks and deliver high-quality solutions on time.


Required Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience with REST APIs and understanding of API integration principles.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Logic Apps/Power Apps for workflow automation and application development.
• Demonstrated track record of successful project management
• Proficiency in Power BI for creating interactive reports and dashboards.
• Strong SQL server skills for data manipulation and analysis.
• Experience using JIRA for project management and issue tracking.
• Familiarity with AGILE/SCRUM methodologies for project management.

Other Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 - 5 years of experience in a similar role.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to be flexible and agile in responding to evolving business priorities and dealing with ambiguity.
• Able to collaborate across the organization and with external stakeholders.
• Willing and able to address escalated client issues with speed and urgency.
• Insurance/Insuretech knowledge is an asset.
