Job Description: Oil & Gas Field Operator

Location: Fort St. John, BC

Schedule: 7 days on / 7 days off, 12-hour shifts

Overview: We are currently seeking experienced and motivated Oil & Gas Field Operators to join our team in Fort St. John, BC. This role is essential for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our oil and gas fields. The ideal candidate will be safety-conscious, detail-oriented, and committed to excellence in their work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor field equipment and facilities associated with oil and gas production.
• Perform routine checks and maintenance of equipment to ensure operational integrity.
• Identify and troubleshoot operational issues, applying effective solutions.
• Adhere to all safety, health, and environmental policies and procedures.
• Accurately record and report operational data and any irregularities.
• Collaborate with team members and other departments to optimize field operations.
• Respond to emergencies and unusual situations promptly.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum Fourth Class Power Engineering certification is highly desirable.
• Proven experience as an oil and gas field operator or similar role.
• Strong mechanical skills and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts in a 7 on / 7 off rotation.
• A strong commitment to safety and environmental best practices.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
