Title: Medical ReceptionistJob Summary:Located in the heart of North York at Yonge/Sheppard, Motion Care Massage & Rehab is a health clinic looking for a Medical Receptionist who has interest to work within a multidisciplinary setting. At Motion Care Clinic we offer the following services: Chiropractic, Massage Therapy, Physiotherapy, Naturopathy, Acupuncture, and Custom-Made Orthotics.Your duties will include :
  1. Performing all front desk activities such as scheduling patient appointments, insurance billing, and general administrative duties
  2. Greeting patients and ensuring optimal patient flow to help maximize clinic/practitioner efficiency
  3. Following up with patients regarding their upcoming appointments
  4. Performing basic day-to-day housekeeping task and ensuring the front reception area is well organized and presentable
  5. Assisting practitioners on as needed (ex. setting up clinic rooms, taking blood pressure, etc.)
  6. Assisting patients regarding any questions or concerns about their treatment, insurance, and etc.
  7. Coordinating with vendors such as Insurance companies as required
  8. Monitor and answer all online requests and messages
  9. Create and contribute to a welcoming family oriented atmosphere
  10. Perform laundry service as required and maintaining a clean front desk/reception area
Required Skills:
  1. 1+ years of customer service/secretarial or relevant experience (Fresh grads welcome)
  2. We are looking for a self-starter who loves working with people and feels at home in a clinical office environment.
  3. You have strong communication and organizational skills and feel comfortable using MS Office Suite, Google Suite, and various social media Platforms (Instagram, WhatsApp, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.)
  4. Exceptional customer service in person and over the phone
  5. Experience with email etiquette
  6. Strong ability to multi-task
  7. Detailed Oriented and strong problem solving mindset
  8. Proven experience working independently, managing front reception desk
  9. Must be able to work weekends
