The Opportunity:

As a Talent Acquisition Specialist at Liberty Mutual Canada, you will play a pivotal role in driving our recruitment efforts across all stages of the hiring process. From sourcing and screening candidates to managing campus recruitment initiatives and supporting strategic projects, you will have the opportunity to influence our organization's talent acquisition strategy and contribute to our growth and success.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage full cycle recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and hiring candidates across various departments and levels.
  • Develop and implement innovative sourcing strategies to attract top talent through online channels, social media, networking, and other creative methods.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and requirements, and provide guidance and support throughout the recruitment process.
  • Coordinate and execute campus recruitment events, including career fairs, information sessions, and campus interviews to attract high-potential candidates.
  • Build and maintain relationships with universities, colleges, and student organizations to enhance our campus recruitment efforts.
  • Utilize applicant tracking system (Workable) to manage candidate pipelines, track recruitment metrics, and generate reports.
  • Support special projects aimed at optimizing recruitment processes, enhancing employer branding, and improving candidate experience.
  • Stay current on industry trends, best practices, and legal requirements related to recruitment and talent acquisition.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 3+ years of Talent Acquisition experience, preferably within Financial & Professional Services.
  • Proficiency in French communication skills is highly desired.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing full cycle recruitment processes and sourcing strategies.
  • Experience with campus recruitment initiatives and building relationships with educational institutions is highly desirable.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with hiring managers, candidates, and team members.
  • Passion for providing an exceptional candidate experience.
  • Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS), MS Office Suite, and other recruitment tools.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively, with a passion for continuous improvement and learning.
