Director of Sales - Based in the Greater Toronto Area

Our client is looking for a Director of Sales to join their dynamic and growing team! He/She will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales plans to achieve company objectives and drive revenue growth. They will build and lead teams of sales professionals, providing guidance, motivation, and support to ensure their success. The ideal candidate is a visionary leader with a proven track record of building and scaling high-performing sales teams in a fast-paced environment, who is not afraid to roll up their sleeves and get their hands dirty from time to time.

Key Responsibilities • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company goals and objectives. • Lead, build, mentor, and motivate a team of sales professionals to meet and exceed targets. • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders. • Create and implement new strategies to drive new revenue growth in existing client relationships • Work with key customer account stakeholders to identify ways of improving the relationship between the two organizations • Identify new business opportunities and drive initiatives to expand market share. •

Travel expected in North America with both existing accounts and the pursuit of new account opportunities.

Qualifications • 6+ years of experience in sales leadership roles. • Proven track record of building and leading high-performing sales teams. • Experience in building a distribution and reseller network. • Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills with the ability to translate insights into actionable plans. • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. • Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain relationships with key customers and stakeholders.

• Results-oriented mindset with a focus on driving revenue growth and achieving targets. • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
