As our company grows, we seek an enthusiastic HR Co-op Student to join our team.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Sourcing candidates using a variety of strategies, tools, and platforms.
  • Continuously educate yourself on the architecture and design industry, trends, news, and competitive landscape.
  • Weekly team meetings to discuss operations and strategy for meeting all of our client requirements.
  • Maintain candidate records through detailed note-taking and data integrity.
  • Support HR team in onboarding and orientation activities for new hires.
  • Assist with HR administrative tasks including maintaining employee records, updating HR databases, and preparing HR-related documents.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  • Assist in organizing employee engagement initiatives and events.
  • Support HR team in conducting employee surveys and analyzing feedback
  • Assisting in managing social media accounts by creating content, scheduling posts, engaging with followers, and analyzing performance metrics.
  • Writing blog posts, articles, email newsletters, or other content to engage with the target audience and promote our services.
  • Various administrative tasks including scheduling meetings, taking meeting minutes, organizing files, and other administrative duties to support the team.

Must haves:

  • Strong verbal and written communication and a demonstrated ability to build relationships quickly
  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Strong interest in pursuing a career in human resources.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Kind, empathetic, curious, smart
Nice-to-haves:
  • Experience in or close ties to the architecture, interior design, or construction industry
  • Located in ON, BC or AB
  • French working proficiency

Duration: 1-2 months or 160 hours.
