SHIFT: 4 10 HOUR AFT SHIFT 3:00 p.m. 1:30 p.m.
SHIFT: 4 10 HOUR MIDNIGHT 7:00 p.m. to 5:30 a.m.LOCATION: Mississauga, ON
INDUSTRY: Packaging/Consumer Packaged Food / Snack ProductsPOSITIONS SUMMARY:The licensed millwright will be responsible for the maintenance and preventative maintenance of all plant machinery.
3 yrs minimum license experience - MUST HAVE MILLWRIGHT LICENSE
Perform equipment (mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic) troubleshooting/repair (labeling machines, conveyors, case erectors, etc.)
Experienced with a fast-paced Manufacturing environment in a high-volume industry
Perform preventative maintenance procedures and adjust procedures as needed.
Perform robot programming/troubleshooting
Replacing shaft and bearing, etc. Fabricate parts using a lathe and milling machine
Some welding experience preferred (welding is not much i.e. not a regular part of the required duties)RESPONSIBILITIES: Inspect, install, repair, replace, and adjust all mechanical equipment in the plant.
Receive instructions, prints, or work orders, covering scheduled and emergency repairs, installation, and inspection work to be done.
Determine the best way of making repairs to minimize interruption of production.
Advise when immediate shut down of equipment is necessary to minimize damage or when temporarily continued operation will have no harmful effect.
Assemble or align gears, bearings, and shafts, involving press, sliding, and running fits, align pumps, motors, turbines, and gear reducers.
Responsible for performing assigned maintenance work on large and small producing units.
Operate power-driven mobile equipment and ordinary crane hooking.
