Our unique and innovative technology is creating safer, more efficient, and more environmentally responsible replacements for powerline environment tasks that have evolved little up until now. We are expanding and looking to add a talented and motivated Accountant to our Calgary team.

Job Description

• Preparing monthly/quarterly/annual financial statements along-with ancillary notes and disclosures and be the first point of contact with auditor/reviewer.
• Performing AR function, Invoicing, and collection of AR
• Supervising AP function, posting and paying AP/credit card bills and ensuring bank accounts are adequately funded at all times
• Completing GST/Sales tax filing for Canada and United States
• Assisting in preparation of budgets and performing variance analysis
• Maintaining and reconciling the general ledger including bank accounts, capital assets, depreciation, prepayments, and intercompany accounts
• Ensuring compliance with federal and provincial regulatory laws/procedures
• Ad hoc projects assigned by the senior management

Qualifications/Experience

• Minimum 3 years of experience with GAAP/IFRS & consolidation in large setups
• University degree in accounting or working towards CPA designation
• Experienced user of QuickBooks, Expensify, Joiin and/or some ERP.
• Intermediate to advance level MS office skills, especially Excel, Word, and Power-point
• Excellent communication and time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
