We are hiring a project manager to coordinate our firmware development projects. As the ideal candidate, you will have a strong background in project management, firmware development, and embedded systems.

You are diligent, proactive and have a reputation for taking an innovative approach when solving difficult problems. You enjoy collaborating with small teams and have the resourcefulness and initiative to navigate through the challenges of new product development.

You will

• Develop and manage firmware project plans, timelines, and budgets
• Coordinate and prioritize tasks among cross-functional teams, including product management, software, hardware, and quality assurance
• Ensure project milestones are delivered on time, within budget, and meet or exceed quality standards
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define and manage project scope, requirements, and specifications
• Monitor and report on project progress, issues and risks, and help develop mitigation strategies
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the firmware development team
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in firmware development

You have

• A bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or a related field (master's degree is a plus)
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in firmware development, with at least 2 years in a leadership or project management role
• A strong understanding of embedded systems, microcontrollers, SoC's, firmware architectures and embedded software development tools

• Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Jira, MS Project), with extensive Jira project management experience preferred
• Industry training and certifications in Scrum and/or PMP a plus
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
• Experience with IoT and low-power embedded systems a plus

• Excellent project management skills, with experience in agile and waterfall methodologies
• Strong analytical problem-solving and decision-making skills
