Job Title: BIM Coordinator

Reports to: BIM Manager / Project Manage

About:
As the BIM Coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day BIM operations for a project team, working with production staff, the project manager, consultant, and trade partners. You will work closely with the office BIM Manager to implement workflows and ensure that projects are completed to the highest standards of quality, accuracy, and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

  • Help develop and maintain the project BIM Execution Plan.
  • Manage and monitor Data Sets (Room, Doors, Windows, etc).
  • Perform Revit Models maintenance, including recreating models once a week, checking models for Revit warnings and proper view organization and other Revit/BIM standards, and purging unused families, groups, etc.
  • Assist the project team with troubleshooting/training and implement workflows in the project with the support of the office BIM Manager.
  • Coordinate project BIM coordination and clash detection meetings.
  • Source and maintain project content with the help of the office BIM Manager.
  • Coordinate with other consultants Revit/BIM Models.
  • Coordinate the handover of information at project milestones.
  • Work with Project Managers to align production team expectations and meet submission dates.
  • Contribute to project production and coordination efforts.
  • Stay current with industry standards and best practices related to BIM.

Requirements:

  • Strong communication skills and experience as a BIM Coordinator on a multi-person project is required.
  • Minimum 5 years of Revit experience required.
  • Basic knowledge of programs such as DRofus, Dynamo, Enscape and CTC Tools are a benefit.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or related field.
  • Professional experience in BIM coordination and implementation.
  • Proficient in Revit and other BIM software.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders and project teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
