Job Summary:As a Steel Structural Engineer, you will be a crucial member of our steel industry team, contributing to the design, analysis, and implementation of structural elements in various steel projects. Working in collaboration with project teams, architects, and construction professionals, you will play a key role in ensuring the structural integrity, safety, and compliance of steel structures. Key Responsibilities:

  1. Structural Design and Analysis:
    • Develop and execute structural designs for steel projects, considering factors such as load-bearing capacity, durability, and safety.
    • Conduct structural analyses using industry-standard software to ensure the stability and integrity of steel structures.
  2. Compliance with Codes and Standards:
    • Ensure all structural designs and implementations adhere to relevant building codes, industry standards, and regulatory requirements specific to the steel sector.
  3. Collaboration with Project Teams:
    • Work closely with project managers, architects, and other engineering disciplines to integrate structural designs seamlessly into overall project plans.
    • Provide technical expertise and guidance during the planning and execution phases of steel projects.
  4. Construction Support:
    • Collaborate with construction teams to oversee the implementation of structural designs, ensuring they align with approved plans and specifications.
    • Conduct site visits and inspections to assess the progress and quality of steel structures during construction.
  5. Quality Assurance:
    • Implement quality assurance processes to ensure the precision and accuracy of structural designs, calculations, and drawings related to steel projects.
    • Address and resolve any discrepancies or issues that may arise during the design and construction phases.
  6. Innovation and Continuous Improvement:
    • Stay informed about the latest advancements and best practices in steel structural engineering.
    • Explore and implement innovative solutions to improve the efficiency and sustainability of steel structures.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Structural Engineering or a related field.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred.
  • Proven experience in structural engineering, with a focus on steel structures.
  • Proficiency in structural analysis software and AutoCAD.
  • In-depth knowledge of relevant building codes, industry standards, and regulations in the steel sector.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
