The Project Manager is responsible for developing project charters, obtaining funding approvals through AFE submissions, scheduling, managing the execution of project work, communicating with internal and external stakeholders and providing accurate forecasting and project reporting. The successful candidate will report to the Capital Superintendent and provide ongoing support to the capital project team at an operational gold mine in Northern Saskatchewan. This is a rotational position on a 7 day on 7 day off, 11 hours per day schedule. Camp accommodation and air travel to and from site will be provided with departures from Saskatoon or Prince Albert, SK.

Salary: Open to wage negotiations based on experience and qualifications.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Process or Mechanical Engineering is preferred, however, all disciplines will be considered
  • Knowledge of processing facilities
  • Proven project management experience in an industiral setting is required.
  • This position is in-field and candidate must be comfortable at an operational mine sites.
  • In-depth knowledge of project management principles, standards, and procedures.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and collaborate effectively.
  • Proficient in SAP.
  • Must have strong skills in scoping and scheduling projects for AFE submissions
