ABOUT THE ROLE
Innocept Developments is seeking an experienced and self-driven intermediate Corporate Accountant to join our team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in supporting our business operations as well as contribute to our teams' ambitious goals. If you thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced setting and have a passion for real estate development, coupled with a proactive nature and innate problem-solving abilities, we are looking for you.
This full-time role can either be based out of our Calgary or Kelowna office and may require occasional travel between each.

Since 2015, Innocept has been active in Kelowna having completed three downtown condominium projects, namely the Stockwell (32-units) in 2018, the St. Paul (54-units) in 2020, and Cawston (82-units) in December 2022.

THE ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Prepare and maintain accurate monthly company financial statements.
- Maintain and manage various bank accounts.
- Prepare month end reconciliations and reports on all accounts and intercompany transactions.
- Prepare and verify budgets vs actual expenses.
- Provide short-term and long-term cash flow management.
- Manage and remit GST, HST and all government filings on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis as required.
- Supporting Property Assistants in reconciling tenants accounts as well as following up on any outstanding receivables.
- Provide year-end documents and financial reports to our external tax accountant.
- Review, code, and record payables and receivables for 5-8 business units.
- Report directly to the President.

- Real Estate, Development and Construction experience.
- Self-motivated with outstanding attention to detail and work ethic.
- Proficiency in financial software and systems; QuickBooks, DEXT, Wagepoint, MS Office Suite, particularly MS Excel in a Mac environment.
THE EXPERIENCE YOU BRING
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Corporate Accounting (preferably real estate experience).
- Undergraduate degree or post-secondary education, in accounting, or related field.
