As a world leader in the design and manufacturing industry, Active Dynamics is seeking an eager enthusiastic experienced FP&A Analyst to join our successful Toronto team immediately. We are looking for a talent with solid professional skills.

The FP&A Analyst's role is to provide analysis related to Active Dynamics' operational, strategic, or financial matters. Their main responsibilities derive from satisfying the questions of senior leaders supported with analytical reasoning and justification. In addition to analysis, the incumbent will assist in financial forecasting/budgeting processes and managing the preparation of financial statements.

This position reports to the Financial Planning & Analysis Manager.

What you will be doing:

  • Support annual budgeting and monthly forecasting processes by use of financial models/tools
  • Assess and summarize financial/other qualitative impacts on the business (as directed).
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting for internal and external customers.
  • Promote alignment of financial reporting across various business units.
  • Data model management within Vena (including Finance and Inventory).
  • Upkeep and enhance existing processes as related.
  • Assist with developing and maintaining tools for analysis (Power BI reporting or Excel).

What you bring along:

  • Post-secondary education with a focus on Business, Accounting, Finance, or IT
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • 0-2 years of relevant corporate financial experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel (Vena is considered an asset)
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
