AMS Circuit Engineering Lead in Waterloo, ON
Summary: In this role, the AMS Circuit Engineer Lead professional will spearhead the advancement of circuits and systems required for MicroLED and microsensor product development. They will be tasked with leading the development and seamless integration of AMS circuits and solutions into the fabrication processes of MicroLED displays. By leveraging their expertise, they will ensure that designed circuits and systems enhance the overall performance and efficiency of the displays and sensors and are compatible with MicoLED and microsensor integration. This role is pivotal in driving innovation, optimizing processes, and achieving high-quality output in MicroLED production, ultimately contributing to the success and advancement of the company's manufacturing capabilities in the MicroLED industry.
YOUR Day-to-day Activities:
- Collaborating with the team in system design and specifications for MicroLED and microsensor
- Leading and managing the (Analog mixed signal) AMS circuits for MicroLED and microsensor applications
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate AMS circuits in the MicroLED and microsensor products.
- Driving innovation and continuous improvement in MicroLED and microsensor functionality and performance leveraging AMS solutions.
- Overseeing the testing, validation, and optimization of AMS circuits to ensure quality, reliability, and efficiency in MicroLED applications.
- Providing technical guidance and leadership to the team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and innovation in CMOS development.
- Working closely with senior leadership to align AMS team initiatives with business objectives and strategic goals.
How YOU will Succeed:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Semiconductor Physics, or related
- Proven experience in AMS design, tape out, test and verification, preferably in DAC or high-speed
- Demonstrated leadership and project management skills in leading the AMS design
- Experience in 3D stacking and TSV technologies
- Knowledge of industry-standard tools and software for AMS design, development, physical implementation, and verifications.
- Ability to drive innovation, problem-solving, and continuous improvement in AMS technology
