We are currently seeking an enthusiastic Human Resource Coordinator for our solar project in Dunmore (Medicine Hat), Alberta. As an HR Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of human resources activities on-site.

You will use your expertise to:

  • Coordinate all site onboarding and off boarding via HRIS system.
  • Coordinate all agencies with hiring and terminations, including reporting
  • Maintain accurate employee records, certifications and ensure proper record keeping using HRIS system (BambooHR)
  • Provide support to onsite managers regarding employee inquires.
  • Support employee wellbeing and well versed with the Company's Employee Assistance Program and other government support resources
  • Maintain high levels of employee satisfaction and overall morale.
  • Develop training material and competency matrix for employee development.
  • Handle conflict resolution effectively.
  • Promote an enthusiastic, collaborative and respectful environment on site
  • Ensure HR practices and programs support GOLDBECK SOLAR's corporate culture; provide a platform for engaging people through continuous feedback and dialogue
  • Assisting with day-to-day operations of the HR department - provide consistent support to colleagues, answering employee and manager questions about people initiatives, policies, and any other people-related items.
  • Comfortable with public speaking and delivering training and presentations.

We would like to review your application if you have the following minimum qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of Employee Relations, specifically the Construction exceptions
  • In-depth knowledge in Human Rights Act
  • Understanding of Occupational Health and Safety Regulations
  • Active listening skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Valid driver's license and access to reliable vehicle.
  • Willingness to travel if required.

Where you will be working, your work schedule, and other important information:

The base hours of work are a regular 44-hour work week, Monday to Friday, with the potential for extended work hours based on the business needs.
