Are you a natural leader with a passion for the automotive industry? Our client, a leading provider of truck solutions, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Service Manager for their Truck Center. As a Service Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing and managing the service operations, ensuring top-notch customer service and maximizing the efficiency and profitability of the Truck Center.
Responsibilities:- Manage and lead a team of service advisors, technicians, and support staff.
- Oversee all service operations, including scheduling, workflow, and quality control.
- Monitor and analyze performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement process enhancements.
- Ensure compliance with safety and industry standards.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, providing exceptional service and addressing any concerns or issues.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and parts, to optimize overall operations and customer satisfaction.
- Manage inventory and parts ordering to ensure efficient and timely repairs.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and technologies to drive continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Prior experience as a Lead Hand or Supervisor in the Medium/ HD Truck or Equipment sector.
- Journeyman Certification - Red Seal Tech
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage and motivate a team.
- In-depth knowledge of truck service operations and maintenance.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Proficiency in relevant software applications.
