Today, their technology is disrupting the inefficient, expensive, and outdated paradigm of using air to keep electronics cool. They work with the biggest names in the technology industry to enable high-performance data centers and desktop computers that are used for everything from solving science's most complex problems to delivering the latest high-end entertainment experiences. Reporting to the Director of Advanced Technology, our client's ML Specialist will be responsible for designing and implementing machine learning algorithms and applications designed to optimize the performance and reliability of the company's Direct Liquid Cooling ecosystem. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with industrial experience that is looking to be the subject matter expert in a newly formed branch of their Advanced Technology organization chart. What you will be doing:
  • Responsible for the development of machine learning applications according to requirements
  • Study and transform data science prototypes
  • Design machine learning systems utilizing existing ML libraries and frameworks
  • Research and implement appropriate ML algorithms and tools
  • Select appropriate datasets and data representation methods
  • Run machine learning tests and experiments
  • Perform statistical analysis and fine-tuning using test results
  • Train and retrain systems when necessary
What you must have:
  • Minimum B.Sc. in Computer Science or Computer Engineering specializing in ML
  • 2+ years programming in a professional environment with python, C++, R
  • Experience in one or more deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, Torch dl4j, Microsoft Cognitive Tool Kit or Kera.
  • Self-starter with the drive to keep abreast of developments in an extremely fast-moving field
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize workloads and utilize planning & time management skills to adhere to deadlines
  • Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy
  • Creative, out of the box thinker that thrives in uncertainty
  • Passionate about new technologies

Nice to have:
  • Experience with utilizing ML in an industrial control system setting
  • Experience with hardware device drivers, database and HMI design and implementation
  • Knowledge of cooling strategies used in the data center industry; both air and liquid
