This is an office based position, with a flexible hybrid work schedule. Candidates must reside in Calgary or Edmonton.

Job Description

The principal role of the Junior Measurement Consultant is to support our various clients in their measurement projects and regulatory reporting needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accountability for all assigned projects
  • Provide support to the consulting team and become comfortable working independently on completing projects
  • Gain an understanding of, and assist with, EPAP projects, measurement audits and reviews
  • Work toward creating and maintaining the development of metering schematics and facility delineations
  • Develop a basic understanding of EFM, FDC and SCADA systems
  • Learn to navigate and complete submissions to various regulatory bodies

Expectations

  • Ensures adherence to all internal controls, system standards, policies, and audit requirements to minimize risk to the company
  • Maintain a good working relationship with the measurement team and work with them to resolve issues
  • Develop an understanding of regulatory documents and reporting requirements the oil and gas industry in western Canada is required to operate within
  • Develop the skills to navigate and utilize regulatory facility tracking systems and oil and gas data management and reporting systems, e.g., Petrinex, One Stop, IRIS, FDC/PA systems, etc.
  • Ability to recognize efficiency and effectiveness issues within the business
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of operations or maintenance experience in the oil and gas industry is preferred
  • Good analytical and problem solving skills
  • Proficient in Google applications, Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Strong communication, organizational, prioritization, and time management skills with a high attention to detail and accuracy
