About the Role

As a Senior UX Designer, you will play a pivotal role in leading our UX initiatives, mentoring team members, and championing a user-centered design approach within our organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive the UX strategy and vision for our products, guiding and mentoring other designers to ensure high-quality design outcomes across multiple projects.
  • Creating user-centered designs by understanding business requirements, and user feedback.
  • Creating user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and mockups.
  • Translating requirements into style guides, design systems, design patterns, and attractive user interfaces.
  • Designing UI elements such as input controls, navigational components, and informational components.
  • Overseeing and integrating design contributions from numerous designers across concurrent projects while ensuring consistency and quality.
  • Identifying and troubleshooting UX problems.
  • Collaborating effectively with the product, engineering, and management teams.
  • Translating user journeys into intuitive designs.
  • Maintaining design consistency across the platform.
  • Leading UX initiatives.
  • Supporting development teams as they implement your designs into the application.
  • Quickplay staff reports into offices in a hybrid capacity (i.e partially at home, and partially at the office based on role/team needs).


About You

Requirements:

  • You are passionate about user experience and understanding the “why” behind each screen you design.
  • You have at least 5 yearsof relevant experience in UX design.
  • You have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a UX leadership role, demonstrating the ability to lead and inspire design teams towards achieving strategic objectives.
  • You enjoy working in InDesign, Figma, or similar software.
  • Advanced level with prototyping tools such as Sketch, InVision, etc.
  • HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript skills are a plus.
  • You pay strong attention to detail and have a keen eye for aesthetics.
  • You have excellent communication skills and can clearly articulate your ideas, designs, and suggestions.
  • You are a strong team player who can collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.
  • You are an easy-going and flexible individual who can integrate and function within a pre-existing team.
  • You are a creative thinker and experienced problem solver.
  • You possess excellent oral and written communication skills with experience leading design/architecture & training sessions.
  • You are a self-starter who can operate with minimal direction.
