POSITION: Window Dresser/Visual Merchandiser

As Window Dresser/Visual Merchandiser, you will create visually appealing window displays that showcase the stores merchandise and attract customers. You will be a direct liaison between stores and the Product team by sharing feedback, trends and product needs. Whenever not working on windows you will assist the stores with merchandising.
Here's some of what you'll do:
- Support all stores across the region with routine window changes.
- Weekly check ins with all locations on cleanliness, state of the windows and store facade
- Assist with in store merchandising and in store mannequin changes after completing the windows.
- Work in close contact with Buyer and Area Visual Merchandising Manager to meet needs of all visual aspects of the stores in the region.
- Manage and facilitate removal of old window props.
- Educate in store teams on mannequin styling, garment care and garment pinning .
- Performs regular inspection of in store and window mannequins if there is any maintenance required.
- Facilitate merchandising presentations in new store openings, renovations, and special events within the region to align the team with company culture and values.
- Meet all required deadlines.
PERFORMS OTHER RELATED DUTIES AND ASSIGNMENTS AS REQUIRED
Required Skills & Experience
- Positive, creative, and willing to learn on the job!
- Minimum 3 years of Visual and Retail merchandising– fashion industry would be considered an asset.
- Proven ability to drive results, find solutions, work autonomously as required.
- Strong understanding of fast fashion industry
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Valid Drivers License
- Car ownership is an asset as sometimes you will have to visit multiple locations a day and carry visual toolbox with you.
- Ability to lift more than 20 pounds.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time, bend, stretch, engage in repetitive motions, push, pull and carry items (mannequins, display props, etc.) for a short distance.
- Ability to climb a ladder and use a step stool.
- Ability to adjust window lighting.
- Must be able to work with hand and power operated tools (Iron, Steamer, etc) and lift in order to execute window display setups.
- Ability to wire rig/strike mannequins.
- Great attention to detail.
- Ability to follow directives.
- Must be able to work a flexible work schedule, including nights, weekends and holidays.
