About the Position

ATS Traffic is actively seeking a dynamic addition to lead our esteemed BC Sales team! As the Account Manager for Kamloops, you'll be the cornerstone of support for our dedicated sales associates and managers, ensuring seamless operations across diverse account portfolios. Your role will involve delivering swift, accurate responses to inquiries regarding product details, pricing, and availability, fostering trust with clients to solidify our position as their preferred partner. Additionally, you'll be instrumental in supporting our estimating team in tackling substantial tenders.

Responsibilities
  • Establish an aggressive sales strategy and yearly sales plans in the defined territory for existing and new accounts.
  • Achieve the annual revenue target within the territory
  • Identify the necessary resources to lead the sales team through the sales lifecycle.
  • Assist in the preparation and delivery of all RFP's, RFQ's and Quotations as needed for the sales functions of the territory.
  • Supervise and lead the Internal Customer Service Department towards their revenue budgets.
  • Maintain and update identified sales processes put forward by corporate head office.
  • Manage identified key accounts with a view on identifying additional revenue opportunities.
  • Share competitive intelligence in your assigned province with other provincial sales teams.

  • Superior written and verbal communication skills with the ability to speak confidently in groups.
  • General mathematical and budgeting skills.
Qualifications

A combination of post-secondary education and experience will be considered:

  • A degree or diploma in either Business, Administration, Sales or equivalent with related experience is preferred but not required, and/or
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in customers service and sales.
  • Proven Staff Management Skills as related to Sales Industry.
  • Past Experience in Budgeting and Targeting for Sales Growth.
  • Prior Negotiating skills with individuals and or groups.
  • Track record of building and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders and clients

  • Knowledgeable in sales quotas and revenue generation techniques

  • Above average user of PC technologies and applicable programs
