POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Digital (Engineering) Manager to drive the digital initiatives at CTC. As the Senior Digital (Engineering) Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving technical excellence, fostering innovation, and leading our Digital efforts. You possess a strong technical background in software development, along with proven leadership experience in managing & developing Digital teams (Engineering, QA).

JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Set strategic direction and goals for the Digital team, aligning with the company's objectives and driving technical innovation and excellence.
  • Define the tech-stack, including software, platforms, and tools utilized in digital projects.
  • Oversee product management activities, including the maintenance, improvement, and innovation of CTC products.
  • Manage the upskilling and addition of team members to enhance digital capabilities within the organization.
  • Lead solutioning efforts for all digital projects, ensuring the effective planning and execution of digital solutions.
  • Oversee QA automation processes to ensure the quality and reliability of digital products and projects.
  • Manage external partners and vendors involved in digital initiatives, fostering strong relationships and ensuring deliverables are met.
  • Lead efforts related to Information Security Management Systems (ISMS) and Cybersecurity, including Cyber Secure Canada certification, implementation of controls, and vulnerability scans.
  • Stay up to date with industry developments to drive continuous improvement and innovation.

YOU WILL BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE IF:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Engineering leadership capacity, with a track record of successfully managing teams.
  • Strong technical background with expertise in software development, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in managing digital projects from conception to completion, with a focus on solutioning and innovation.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners.
  • Proven leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve goals and drive results.
  • Experience in cybersecurity and information security management, with relevant certifications preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions and drive continuous improvement.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
