Job Title: Human Resources Manager
Location: Toronto Ontario
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of the staffing process, including recruitment, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding of employees
- Manage payroll functions, ensuring accurate and timely processing of employee compensation and benefits
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries, concerns, and grievances, providing guidance and resolution as needed
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations
- Conduct training sessions for staff on topics such as diversity, harassment prevention, and performance management
- Coordinate employee performance evaluations and provide support to managers in addressing performance issues
- Administer employee benefits programs and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR databases
- Collaborate with management to identify staffing needs and develop strategies for talent acquisition and retention
- Stay informed about developments in labor laws and regulations, and advise management on compliance issues
Role Requirements:
- Proven experience in HR management, with a focus on staffing, payroll, and employee relations
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
- Demonstrated problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
- Proficiency in HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) and payroll software
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
- HR & Payroll certification is a plus
