Job Title: Human Resources Manager

Location: Toronto Ontario

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all aspects of the staffing process, including recruitment, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding of employees
  • Manage payroll functions, ensuring accurate and timely processing of employee compensation and benefits
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries, concerns, and grievances, providing guidance and resolution as needed
  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations
  • Conduct training sessions for staff on topics such as diversity, harassment prevention, and performance management
  • Coordinate employee performance evaluations and provide support to managers in addressing performance issues
  • Administer employee benefits programs and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR databases
  • Collaborate with management to identify staffing needs and develop strategies for talent acquisition and retention
  • Stay informed about developments in labor laws and regulations, and advise management on compliance issues

Role Requirements:

  • Proven experience in HR management, with a focus on staffing, payroll, and employee relations
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
  • Proficiency in HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) and payroll software
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
  • HR & Payroll certification is a plus
