Vertex Resource Group Ltd. is currently hiring project based High Pressure Labourers/Tank Cleaners to support a shutdown project in Lloydminster. We are looking for motivated, dedicated and skilled individuals with industry experience. You must have a valid Class 5 license and are willing to travel or drive to Lloydminster for the work.

This is a project based position that is in the Lloydminster area. You will be required to travel to Lloydminster where hotel and a daily food subsistence will be provided for the duration of the project.

EXPERIENCE

• 1+ year experience with operating High Pressure equipment 10, 15 and 20k pressure is a necessity
• Experience performing jobs such as but not limited to; 3D Washing, Line Cleaning, Bundle Blasting
  • Experience doing XLTC Lancing, exchanger cleaning and line cleaning
• Have experience being under breathing air for periods of time
• Knowledge and experience in Pulp & Paper, Thermal and Oil & Gas considered an asset
• The requirement to work shift rotation, days, evenings and weekends where required

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Participate in the safety program by ensuring all company and customer policies & procedures are adhered to
• Attendance and participation in toolbox talk and safety meetings, FLRA's, hazard assessment development, pre-trips/post-trips
• Willing to work as a team player with coworkers, contractors, and customers
• Prepare hazard assessments as appropriate
  
• Maintain composure during high-stress and multi-tasking challenges
• Stand, sit, crouch, and kneel for extended periods of time
• Work in confined space for shifts of up to 2 hours
  
• Stand, sit, crouch, and kneel for extended periods of time
  
• Participate in the installation and removal of energy isolation devices, blanks, blinds, etc.
  
• Rig in / rig out ventilation, wash and vacuum equipment
• Able to demonstrate competent operation of equipment
• Ensure customer and client satisfaction by always providing excellent customer service
• Follow all local, provincial and federal compliance regulations and rules
• Ensure all training requirements are up to date and current
• Perform maintenance on units to ensure cleanliness and efficient operation
• Complete and maintain all required paperwork and documentation properly within set timelines; this includes daily logs, waste manifests etc.
• Workload and schedules may vary depending on emergency situations and routine work that can be punctuated by very busy periods; this is a 24-hour business and the hours can be erratic
  
• Ability to lift heavy tools and parts
• Must be able to work at heights of more than 6 feet
