Purpose: To organize, schedule, and perform wash bay services, ensuring the maintenance and cleanliness of facility, equipment, vehicles, and tools related to the wash bay.

Key Responsibility Areas:

• Maintain the facility, equipment, vehicles, and tools associated with the wash bay.
• Perform standard wash bay services and functions as required.
• Schedule, wash, and detail customer and company equipment to meet business needs.
• Participate in the organization of the in and out functions associated with moving equipment in a timely and efficient manner.
• Work closely with service writers for coordination of work assignments.
• Ensure the condition of facilities, equipment, and tools related to the wash bay is well-maintained.
• Maintain a clean work area and perform tasks in a neat and orderly fashion.
• Follow all safety rules and regulations associated with wash bay facilities and equipment (e.g., lifts, pressure washers, etc.).
• Complete all required reports and forms associated with job assignments.
• Account for all time and materials used in performing assigned duties.
• Take an active role in ensuring a constructive and positive team environment is maintained within the department, throughout the branch, and across the organization.

Experience, Education, Skills, and Knowledge:

• Ability to operate/use equipment (commercial pressure washer, battery charger, compressor, power pumps, miscellaneous hand tools) and work with various maintenance-related chemicals (commercial cleaners).
• Ability to operate lifts (scissor/other) and heavy-duty equipment (large ag equipment).
• Ability to perform multiple duties as assigned and prioritize effectively.
• Ability to lift items weighing upwards of 50 lbs.
• Ability to work flexible hours and varying shifts.
• Valid driver's license required.
• WHMIS/Forklift/Power Mobile Equipment certification would be a definite asset.
• General machinery knowledge is an asset.
• Basic knowledge of equipment safety procedures is required.
