1-800-GOT-JUNK? is seeking a Database Marketing & CRM Developer to enhance our customer experience by improving our Marketing technology. This role collaborates with various stakeholders to ensure our technology aligns with our growth plan for customer communication and retention.

Responsibilities include developing, implementing, and maintaining marketing automation solutions using Salesforce Marketing Cloud. The ideal candidate has a strong background in Salesforce Marketing Cloud development, ideally with SFMC Developer Certification, and can design and execute complex campaigns to boost customer engagement and retention.

A DAY IN THE LIFE

  • Develop and implement marketing automation solutions using Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
  • Create dynamic, personalized marketing campaigns that drive customer engagement and retention using various scripting languages
  • Work closely with the marketing and technical teams to understand business requirements, translating them into solutions.
  • Ensure our deliverability and domain health remain strong with an understanding of how all marketing tech stacks meet guidelines and comply with CASL, CAN-SPAM and other data and privacy regulations.
  • Accountable for ensuring requirements are delivered in partnership with Business Technology. One of the key stakeholders in developing and maintaining cross-department collaboration.
  • Implements established best practices and identifies opportunities and new strategies/tactics to improve Database Marketing programs.
  • Supports program testing and optimization efforts, product releases, integrations with other platforms and support from a technical perspective.
  • Tracks and analyzes all marketing tech stacks against business goals and objectives.
  • Evaluates performance, and leads improvements and pivots when needed

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE

  • Experience configuring and setting up data models (data extensions, shared data extensions, Contact model).
  • Proficiency in AMPscript, SQL, SSJS and WSPRoxy
  • Build Marketing Cloud web experience (data forms, custom preference pages).
  • Understanding (experience preferred) of Email / ISP Domain Health Management
  • Familiarity with template design - HTML, CSS, AMPscript, SQL, SSJS and proficiency required, WXProxy is nice to have.
  • Comfort working within multiple marketing tech stacks, cross-department collaboration and highly technical teams.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

  • Salary $90,000 - $100,000 per annum (Actual salary offered will be commensurate with education, experience and internal parity).
