Steve Marshall Ford is Looking to Grow Our Team! As a Used Vehicle Reconditioning Technician at Steve Marshall Ford, you'll work closely with our service team. The role requires a solid understanding of automotive systems, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to use various tools and diagnostic equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Perform safety inspections on used vehicles, and then carry out repairs and reconditioning
• Perform thorough inspections of vehicles to identify and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and electronic problems
• Use diagnostic equipment and tools to assess and troubleshoot issues accurately
• Conduct repairs on engines, transmissions, brakes, steering, suspension, and other automotive systems
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks
• Replace or repair faulty parts, components, and systems
• Maintain detailed records of all inspections, diagnoses, and repairs performed on each vehicle
• Ensure that all repairs meet industry standards and comply with safety regulations
• Conduct quality control checks to verify the effectiveness of repairs and maintenance
• Collaborate with other technicians, service advisors, and parts department to ensure efficient workflow

Requirements:

• Automotive technician: 4 years
• BC Driver's License
• Red Seal preferred, but apprentice considered
• Dealership Experience
• Can work independently and as part of a team
• Tools required to perform repairs and services

Wage:

• $35-$40 per hour; depending on experience
