Duties

• High-visibility patrol of corporate assets between Campbell River and Comox Valley, on foot and in company vehicles
• Ensure the security of all personnel, visitors, and the general public
• Respond against theft, trespassing, vandalism, and fire
• Monitor property access control
• Investigate and report suspicious behavior, incidents, and security breaches
• Enforce company policies and procedures
• Communicate with law enforcement, emergency medical personnel, and fire departments
• Respond to and investigate alarms, ensuring properties are secure and in order before departing
• Review and administer internal surveillance footage

Requirements

• Excellent customer service & professional deportment
• High standard for safety & a passion for security
• Excellent documentation and communication skills

• Hold a valid BC Security License
• Have a valid Class 4 or 5 Driver's License, with a clean driver's abstract (NO previous suspensions and/or prohibitions)
• Strong knowledge of Road Safety
• Relevant security experience
• Relevant experience in the security or customer service industry
• Enjoy working as part of a team, but able to work independently without supervision
• Will be provided with company vehicle, phone, laptop and uniform allowance

Shift requirements

• Typical shift work will be 4 nights on with 4 nights off, 10 hours per shift with the potential for on call and or overtime. Typical hours 8 pm to 6 am
