RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Handling day-to-day email operations, including analyzing campaign performance reports
  • Flawless execution on all email campaigns — content, linking, segmentation, etc;
  • Conducting extensive A/B and multivariate testing, analysis, and reporting on key metrics impacting delivery, open rate, click through rate, conversion rate, and ROI;
  • Developing meaningful database segmentation to tailor appropriate campaigns for targeted audiences;
  • Creating data and content strategies to maximize performance;
  • Designing and implementing weekly newsletters, and email drip/trigger automations to extend the customer life cycle;
  • Evaluating new and different email delivery platforms to ensure both redundancy and specialization for various data characteristics including domain groupings and age of data;
  • Coordinating with Business, Development, Content and Project Management teams for smoother execution of email programs;
  • Working alongside Compliance to foresee and anticipate legal and/or regulatory issues;
  • Maintaining all the email delivery accounts, sub-domains and IPs in good health;
  • Keeping focus on long-term vision while executing on short-term performance goals.
  • Own end to end execution of email campaigns, including audience segmentation, A/B testing, QA and reporting.
  • Perform day to day marketing activities including, but not limited to, email campaign set up, scheduling, testing, deployment of emails, email database management activities, and maintaining cleanliness of database.
  • Work with technology team to automate email campaigns and implement new Email Service Provider
  • Maintain up-to-date campaign calendar and coordinate with internal stakeholders.
  • Tracking and reviewing all campaign metrics on a daily, weekly, monthly, and ad hoc basis to identify opportunities for optimization, and help build presentations (PPT) for senior leadership.
  • Measurement and optimization of content and campaign performance.
  • Work with graphic designers to develop marketing campaign creative assets.
  • Collaborating and assisting on other marketing/sales projects as requested.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Email Marketing and Deliverability, or ISP/ESP industry experience
  • Degree/Certification in Marketing Management, Advertising, Communications, or equivalent.
  • Familiar with laws, regulations, and best practices of the email industry.
  • Extensive experience in all areas of campaign management
  • IP reputation management for both dedicated and shared IPs
  • Working knowledge of delivery protocols and policies for all major domain groups.
  • While email marketing is primary focus of this position, experience with Landing pages, Forms, SMS and/or Push Notifications is a plus.
  • Basic understanding of HTML knowledge
  • Excellent project management skills specific to marketing.
  • HTML/CSS/AMP Knowledge
  • Analytics, Reporting, (FBL's, Postmaster Tools, SNDS)
  • ISP and ESP Knowledge
  • Delivery Protocols and Policies: (SPF, DKIM, DMARC)
  • Compliance and Legal Knowledge
  • Graphic Design Basics, Mobile and Testing Tools
  • Linux LAMP experience, Apache, MySQL, and PHP/Python, basic scripting, or coding knowledge (as an asset)
