Job Title: Sr. Project Manager - Quality Assurance Job ID: TW287561614Location: Edmonton, AB Overview:Our client is looking for a Sr. Project Manager - Quality Assurance to join their amazing team. They require someone with excellent communication skills and experience managing large-scale, integrated end-to-end testing activities across several technical components. Strong vendor management skills and deep knowledge of SDLC working with large/complex technical ecosystems are required. They are open to candidates anywhere in Canada. What you will be doing:
  • The Sr. PM will be involved on a key strategic program underway, primarily managing the Quality Assurance Testing workstream. This work will be completed by a team of outsourced resources supplemented with internal resources.
What you must have:
  • Ability to manage multiple large, multi-million, complex and strategic projects, engaging several cross-functional teams across the organization;
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills. Ability to plan and deliver communications that are easily understood and are tailored to the intended audience.
  • Experience working on a well-established and mature PMO, with established processes, procedures, systems and reports, but also knowledgeable on how to tailor those processes to the particular needs of projects and programs.
  • Excellent collaboration skills. Ability to develop, maintain and strengthen relationships inside and outside the project team.
  • Excellent influencing skills. Ability to work with a variety of stakeholder groups with different priorities, to recognize concerns and seek win-win solutions.
  • Excellent facilitation skills. Ability to engage and elicit information from different groups.
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical thinking skills. Ability to identify the information needed to clarify a situation, then applying a logical, systematic approach to evaluating alternatives.
  • High degree of interpersonal awareness. Ability to notice, interpret and anticipate the concerns and feelings of others, to be an attentive listener.
  • Results focused and thorough. Develops clear goals, monitors for accuracy and quality of deliverables, has a strong attention to detail.
