Job Summary

Z'gamok Construction LP (ZCLP) is searching for a Full-Time Welder in Nairn Center with experience and a proven track record of safety and success within a Mining & Construction environment.

As a Welder, you are considered an integral member of our team and will be responsible for welding, fabricating, and offering top-quality performance in a safe and professional manner. The successful candidate will also perform welding repairs on Heavy Equipment, Automotive, buckets and crusher and screening plants.

This position is subject to ZCLP's personnel and administrative policies, relevant client policies and procedures and relevant Laws and regulations.

Duties and Responsibilities

• CWB Stick and Mig Certified would be considered an asset.
• Self-starter with ability to work with minimum supervision.
• Ability to read, write blueprints, and math skills for duties required.
• Able to operate tools, machinery, and vehicles safely.
• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
• Complying with all Health & Safety regulations in the workplace and following all Health and Safety procedures.
• Maintain the required tools for the job.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years experience in fabricating and welding is preferred.
• Safety conscious with solid interpersonal, communication and organizational skills.
• High initiative and ability to function effectively as a team player and ability to function with minimal supervision.
• Willing and able to work flexible hours in support of business requirements.
• A valid Ontario Driver's License.
